Welcome back to a new year at Rednock School!

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the 2026/27 academic year!

Start of Term

The new academic year will begin with INSET days on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd September 2026, when the school will be open for staff only. On Thursday 3rd September, we will welcome Year 7 and Year 12 students for their Transition Day. All students will return to school on Friday 4th September 2026, which will be a Week A. Please ensure that students arrive in full school uniform and bring all the equipment they need to have a successful start to the new academic year.

Year 7 – What to Bring on Your First Day

On your first day at Rednock, please arrive at 8.35am on Thursday 3rd September 2026 and bring your pencil case with essential equipment, your reading book, a drink and the activity book you received at the Meet the Tutor evening. You will not need your PE kit on your first day. Please enter the school via the student entrances and make your way to the Main Hall, where your tutor will meet you and take you to your tutor room. We will provide all students with a free lunch on their first day while we organise fingerprint registration for the canteen, although you are welcome to bring your own lunch if you prefer.
