Exam Results 2026

GCSE

Students, staff, and parents at Rednock School are celebrating the achievements of their Year 11 students, who received their GCSE and BTEC results today.

Mike Stratford, Headteacher, said:

“We are absolutely thrilled for our students receiving their results today. Results Day is the culmination of years of hard work. This morning has been very special, with many happy faces. Being able to share this special moment with them is a privilege – we are incredibly proud.”

This year, the number of students achieving a grade 4 or above (including in English and Maths) is the highest Rednock has recorded for many years. We’ve seen improvements across some key performance measures for the school which is a testament to the hard work of our students, the high quality of teaching and dedication of our staff, and the ongoing support from parents and carers.

While we are proud of this year’s results, we remain committed to further improvement as we continue striving to become the very best school for our community.

Today, however, is first and foremost a day of celebration and recognising the individual journeys and achievements of our students. We are proud of each and every one for reaching this important milestone.

We’re also pleased to have received a high number of applications to our Sixth Form. For any students receiving results today – whether from Rednock or another local school – we still have some places available on a number of Sixth Form courses. If you’re looking for a supportive and ambitious learning environment, we would be delighted to welcome you into our special Rednock community. Please do contact us if you wish to discuss a Sixth Form place with us.

A-Level

Rednock School Celebrates Sixth Form Success

Students and staff at Rednock School are celebrating the achievements of this year’s Sixth Form cohort today as they receive their A Level and BTEC results and look ahead to exciting futures in higher education, apprenticeships, and employment.

Mike Stratford, Headteacher, said:

“The results our students have received today are a testament to their hard work, resilience, and determination. These outcomes not only reflect their individual dedication, but also highlight the momentum of our growing and improving Sixth Form. I am deeply grateful to our teaching and support staff, whose dedicated guidance has prepared our students so well for life beyond school.

Results Day is always a special moment, as it marks the culmination of years of commitment, learning, and perseverance. Now that our students have their results, I encourage them to take time to reflect and celebrate their achievements before embracing their next steps.”

Mr Stratford added:

“I would like to congratulate all of our students. Some will have exceeded their ambitions, others achieved what was expected, and some may feel a small sense of disappointment. However, although important, it is not grades that define a young person, but their character. We know we are saying farewell to a year group packed full of character, and we are immensely proud of every single one of them.”

Demelza Barker, Head of Sixth Form, expressed her pride in the students, highlighting their achievements in both academic and personal growth:

“Our students continue to impress me with their commitment to their futures, and their outcomes today are a reflection of the work they have put in during their time in the Sixth Form. This year I am especially proud of a significant number of students who have shown tremendous growth and resilience in the face of some incredibly challenging personal circumstances. I absolutely echo Mr Stratford’s comments about the wonderful character of this group of young people, who have been a delight to work with throughout their time with us. It is their character, determination and resilience that will serve them well in the next stage of their journey. This year our students are progressing to a combination of university and apprenticeship placements, as well as gap years abroad. I wish them every success and very much look forward to hearing about their future accomplishments.”

It’s not too late to join us from September. If you would like to be part of our growing and improving, vibrant Sixth Form, please contact us and we would be happy to help. Our Sixth Form team will be in school to support Year 11 GCSE results day and any applicants on Thursday 20th August.
